November 2 The demonstrations across British India continuo which forces the British Army in India to intervene as the British Indian Army refuse to stop demonstrations forcing British Army units posted to India to break the demonstrations up ( wile the Royal Indian Navy mutiny is over many soldiers of the British Indian Army are beginning to openly question the British rule and have begun refusing to act against the demonstration going on across British India and by now prime minister Churchill has begum under pressure from president Truman to give India its independence as the United States fears that unrest in India is going to hurt the war against Japan if independence is not granted ).
From Portugal a small convoy of ships heads towards the recaptured Portuguese colony of Macau caring troops and supply’s to the Portuguese military garrison which consist of the Portuguese Expeditionary Force who helped in liberating the colony from the Japanese almost a month ago.
November 4 With Hong Kong and Macau haven fallen to the allies a month ago the attention shifts towards the last Japanese hold out in southern china which is on the island of Hainan as the Chinese-American headquarters begin to gather forces to invaded the island by sea as many attempts by the combined Chinese forces who lay across the Hainan Strait have failed. November 6 Senate and House elections in the United States both give majorities to the Republicans ( the cause is mostly related to the Truman administration policy related to Germany in the past which caused the democrats to loss the majority in the Senate and House ).
November 9 After many low level diplomatic talks the German empire and the Soviet Union come to a agreement to resume full diplomatic relations with each other to allow better communications both on the diplomatic and military front wile also agreeing to hold the third conference in the kingdom of Romania capitol of Bucharest which is the first time that a conference is held in a none neutral country ( the Bucharest conference will focus on the military situation on the east front as both sides still have millions of men facing each other and therefore the German empire and the Soviet Union want to resolve that before the real peace talks begin ).
November 14 Forces belonging to the Imperial Iranian Army backed by the US Military Iran Advisory Group air force are given permission by the kingdom of Iraq government to move in some cases 5 miles into Iraq to create a buffer zone which is created to prevent Kurdish forces in south Iraq from moving into Iran , the Turks however refuse as the believe that the have secured their border with Iran when enough and warn that any incursion by Iran will be dealt whit force ( with the Kurdish uprising becoming a lost case for the Kurds try to get out of the areas the previous control in order to get away from the Turks and Soviet forces in Turkey ore the British lead Iraqforce in Iraq , the Syrian republic also has closed borders with the kingdom of Iraq backed by a French Foreign Regiment who jobs it is to help protecting the Syrian/Turkish border and sins recently has station several French Air Force fighters , transport and reconnaissance squadrons in the republic as the Syrian republic has not yet gut its one air force ).
November 16 Prime minister Churchill announces that United Kingdom is going to discuss with the Indian National Congress and the All India Muslim League matters related to independence for India.
November 17 The Indian National Congress and the All India Muslim League tell their members that the are to spread the word that the British have caved in and discussion to give India its independence are going to begin and therefore the demonstrations can end for the moment as the have achieved their desired effect ( neither the Indian National Congress ore the All India Muslim League leaders now that the demonstrations where a minor factor but that the United States is the one that forced the United Kingdom to begin these talks as it feared that unrest in India could hurt the war against Japan ).
Operation big wheel is launched as Australian and the US army from bases in Queensland in Australia begin landings in occupied Australian and Netherlands New Guinea.
November 18 From their anchor near Dutch Timor the joint Netherlands and Australian naval taskforce comprising the cruisers HNLMS Jacob van Heemskerck as the main naval vessels escort the 1st Marine brigade of the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps and the Australian Infantry Battalion of the 7th Division towards their landing zone in north Netherlands New Guinea.
November 19 The last demonstration ends and the people in British India go back to their normal lives with the feeling that the have won the struggle and the United Kingdom is now forced to really discuses a independent India and not as previous delay it until Japan is defeated. On the third day of Operation big wheel the Australian and US army forces face no major resistance at all from the Japanese as the have redrawn deep in the New Guinea jungle.
November 20 The cruisers HNLMS Jacob van Heemskerck and HMAS Shropshire together with supporting ships shell a landing side in occupied Netherlands New Guinea as the 1st Marine brigade and the Australian Infantry Battalion of the 7th Division land unopposed at their landing side.
November 21 In the Independent state of Serbia members of a partisan forces attack a town garrisoned by the Rural State Guard in order to get food and weapons , several hours latter the partisan forces are driven back by the Serbian Home Defense Guard and forces belonging to the German Armeeabteilung Serbien ( these kind of attacks by Partisan forces in the Independent state of Serbia and the kingdom of Croatia happen on a regular basis as the Partisans struggle to get food and weapons to fight the Croatians , Serbians , Italians and German forces as their support with the local populations who are tired of fighting is dwindling each day , the Germans with the cease fire have deployed more divisions to the Independent state of Serbia ).
November 23 Whit Operation big wheel entering its six day many high rank officers of the Allied South West Pacific Area command begin to wonder why many of the landings on occupied Australian and Netherlands New Guinea are don with out major resistance from the Japanese , even on the frontlines who where quit for long time on New Guinea the resistance by Imperial Japanese forces is not strong except some pockets of die hard units of the Imperial Japanese army who are quickly defeated by the massive firepower the allies have at their disposal.
A Vietnamese riot in Haiphong erupts in clashes with troops belonging to the French Indochina Expeditionary Corps which results in the French south Chinese Fleet naval vessels including the cruiser Marseillaise to open fire on the city ( ( the city of Haiphong is the main naval base of the French south Chinese Fleet in French Indochina and therefore the fleet is able to support the French Indochina Expeditionary Corps who are used around French Indochina for garrison duty’s ).
November 25 US army Military Intelligence Service Office personal who after interrogating Imperial Japanese army soldiers captured alive during Operation big wheel get some answers in why there is so little resistance from a Imperial Japanese force which still numbers 100,000 on New Guinea , their findings are that many of the Imperial Japanese army forces on the island are to weak to engage as the had no supplies from Japan over 2 years , orders from the Imperial General Headquarters have not bin received for more then a year du the leak of working radio equipment , many of the soldiers are weak du disease ore lake of food , latter this information is sent to Allied Commander South West Pacific Area General Douglas MacArthur.
After two days of shelling by ships of the French south Chinese Fleet and the French Indochina Expeditionary Corps battling in the city results in the dead of 2,000 Vietnamese people in the city of Haiphong forcing Ho Chi Minh and his Viet Minh forces to retreat into the jungle.
November 27 The royal Dutch 1st Marine brigade continues their advance facing little ore any resistance from Imperial Japanese army forces sins their landing on occupied Netherlands New Guinea.
November 29 The French Expeditionary Fleet is disbanded and its resources is dividing between the French Indian Ocean Fleet and the French south Chinese Fleet with the French south Chinese Fleet receiving the bulk of the French Expeditionary Fleet naval vessels ( the French Expeditionary Fleet which was created on June 15 1945 is already being sidelined by the French south Chinese Fleet who will take its place in fighting the Japanese as it already is doing in supporting the siege of Hainan island ).
November 30 General Douglas MacArthur tells president Truman that if the progress of Operation big wheel is going better then planned and that if it continuous as it is doing now all of New Guinea will be in allied hands in less then tree to four months.
