Flagship of the royal Netherlands space force KNRS Amsterdam and KNRS Wolf and KNRS ER-3 begin the first joint exercise in the history of the royal Netherlands space force near Jupiter.

After three days , the crew of KNRS Amsterdam complete their mission of installing the Callisto communication and observation station , and whit the installment complete KNRS Amsterdam returns back to Mars.

Third Type A class shuttle designated KNRS A3 begins its test flight out of Netherlands space centre Guyana , these test flights are necessary before the KNRS A3 is handed over to the royal Netherlands space force , which is planning to use KNRS A3 for flights from to Moon base Eisinga and New Amsterdam moon base and back.

September 22nd
Fokker aircraft corporation East Indies begins production of the D-24I tornado M.2 jet fighter , whit it focusing its production on producing the D-24I single-seat interceptor version ,as Fokker Netherlands will produce the D-24T operational trainer and the D-24R reconnaissance version for the royal Netherlands East Indies air force.

October 16th
The Japanese empire explodes their first atomic bomb in the Gobi desert , and becomes the fourth nation after the United States , Soviet Union and Great Britain to detonate their one atomic bomb , the test which was unexpected was observed by a orbiting Class-5 probe who immediately send the pictures and scans it has taken to the royal Netherlands military intelligence service headquarters in The Hauge, Netherlands.

A United Republic of China air force F-86 Sabre intercepts 2 imperial Japanese army air service , Nakajima Ki-202 jet fighters above the United Republic of China controlled part of the province of Sichuan and shoots both down (3) in the first jet-to-jet dogfight in history.

(1) in OTL Netherlands athletes won no medals during the 1956 winter Olympic games , but in this timeline it won three thanks to better funding by the ministry of health, welfare and sport , which was created in 1951.
