July 2 In the city of Surabaya in the Netherlands East Indies a small group of people belonging to the free Indonesian movement storm a hotel in the city and rip the blue part of the Dutch flag changing it into Indonesian flag , however the Dutch East Indies home guard and elements of the 2nd KNIL Division present in the city quickly respond and enter the hotel which results in a gun fire erupting , several hours later bombs begin to explode in the city and small armed groups belonging to the free Indonesian movement begin attacking targets in the city.
July 6 The negotiations in the Portuguese capitol of Lisbon continuo , as the 13 direct participant nations involved work steadily for a permanent and lasting peace deal for east Europe , the situation on the east front is also calm as both the German empire and the Soviet Union are focusing towards other areas ( the German empire is focus much of its attention towards rebuilding and the Soviet Union in the upcoming war offensive against the state of Manchuria ). Bombs and guns fight between the Dutch East Indies home guard , KNIL forces and the free Indonesian movement continuo.
July 11 The ship Exodus 1947 leaves the French republic port of Sète for Palestine , onboard are 4,500 Jewish holocaust survivors , the ship is trailed by British cruiser HMS Ajax and a convoy of destroyers not soon after its departure , after the ship nears the kingdom of Italy is also beginning to be followed by the Italian cruiser RN Eugenio di Savoia and its destroyer escorts. July 14 After twelve days of violence the city of Surabaya is devastated but again under full control of the Dutch East Indies home guard and KNIL , the death toll after the twelve day violence is estimated at some 1,600 people.

July 16 The battle for Hainan island is after 65 days over whit the eleventh United States army and the Chinese nationalist army now in full control over the island , the United States army and the Chinese nationalist army suffered 7,600 dead ore wounded wile the losses to the Japanese 23rd army are ten times higher as many Japanese soldiers fought to their dead rather then to be captured alive.
July 17 A 22 kiloton A-bomb is dropped by a USAAF B-29 bomber on the Japanese Rabaul fortress after many attempts to destroy the Rabaul fortress whit heavy bombardments both by air and sea have failed , the drop proves disastrous for the Japanese defenders and thousands are buried alive ore will die from radiation in the upcoming weeks ( the B-29 bomber took of from a RAAF airbase in Australia ).
July 18 Fearing that the ship Exodus 1947 is about to be boarded by the staidly closing cruiser HMS Ajax its captain sends a messages of help , this message is intercepted by the Italian cruiser RN Eugenio di Savoia who is also still following Exodus 1947 , the captain of RN Eugenio di Savoia immediately contacts Rome for orders , only two hours later prime minister Mussolini decides that the ship is to be escorted to the Italian island of Rhodes , after getting his new orders the captain orders the RN Eugenio di Savoia and its destroyer escorts to move along side the Exodus 1947 as the head towards Rhodes island.
July 19 Escorted by RN Eugenio di Savoia the ship Exodus 1947 arrives in the port of Rhodes , after disembarking the 4,500 people are brought to a camp which was set up in hast by the Italian royal army outside the city of Rhodes.
President Truman informs the Netherlands ambassador to the United States , that the United States government finds it necessary that the kingdom of the Netherlands begins negotiations whit the people of Indonesian concerning a free Indonesia ( the United States government feels that whit the removal of the Japanese from the Netherlands East Indies and the increasing resistance against Dutch rule a free Indonesia is better for the region ).
July 22 Portuguese destroyer NRP Dão after having received repairs in the Portuguese colony of Macau arrives in Lisbon naval base two months after it was hit by a torpedo from a Japanese submarine which killed 17 of its crew , its replacement and sister ship NRP Lima is already patrolling out of the Portuguese colony of Macau.
July 23 A USAAF B-29 bomber escorted by USAAF P-51 Mustangs and fighters belong to the RAAF first tactical air force No.82 Squadron drops a 18 kiloton A-bomb on Truk lagoon killing more then 8000 Japanese soldiers. United Nations special committee on Palestine members are invited to the island of Rhodes by the Italian government to speak whit the Exodus 1947 passengers now living in a refuge camp in Rhodes.
July 24 Full control of the Hainan island is given to the Chinese nationalist government. Erprobungskommando 270 is renamed Kommando Hohagen and receive the first production versions of the Me 270 jet fighter considered by the kaiserliche Luftwaffe to be the most advance jet fighter in the world ( Kommando Hohagen is named after Oberst Erich Hohagen who is also the commander of Kommando Hohagen ).
July 25 A delegation of the United Nations special committee on Palestine arrives in the refuge camp outside Rhodes city to speak whit the leaders of the refuges and officials of Italian government.
July 26 President Harry S. Truman signs the national security act of 1947 into law creating the central intelligence agency which replaces the central intelligence group and creates the department of defense , joint chiefs of staff and the national security council ( the act is the same which was sign in OTL ). The Soviet-Chinese headquarters finishes the preparations for the coming offensive against the state of Manchuria and the Japanese empire , the operation which will be launched in middle of Augusts will be called operation August storm.
July 27 More then 37,583 Americans, English, Australians, Netherlands and New Zealanders held in POW camps in the empire of Japan are informed that from now on 3,000 of them will be executed each time a A-bomb is used against the empire of Japan ( the 3,000 figure is a increase over the previous 500 who where killed each time a A-bomb was dropped on a Japanese city ).
Prime minister Mussolini allows the international media to speak whit the refuge leaders in the refugee camp who made it clear to the delegation from the United Nations special committee on Palestine that the would rejecting any alternative destinations except Palestine.
July 28 The US launches operation blast fortress as a US navy force made op of 14 aircraft carriers , 6 battleships, 12 heavy and light cruisers , 33 destroyers conducts a six hour shelling of the Rabaul fortress , after the shelling is over the US 3rd marine division begins its assault against the fortress , from the other side the 9th division of the Australian army which was already holding the Rabaul line begins its assault supported by its artillery ( the Rabaul line was a line held by the Australian and Americans surrounding the Japanese held Rabaul fortress and which main goal was from the Japanese braking out and supplies getting in ).
July 29 The Dutch prime minister informs his ministers , that a plan is to be made in which Indonesia is to be given its freedom before 1951 and the separation of Netherlands of New Guinea are to put down , he also informs them that many friendly governments are beginning to put pressure for the Netherlands to give Indonesia its independence ( the friendly governments who are putting up pressures are Australia , United States of America and the United Kingdom ).
July 30 In China the truce between Chinese communists and nationalists is on the verge of breaking down as both sides head towards the resumption of a full blown civil war ( by now china is divided between the Chinese communists and nationalists and only the state of Manchuria is not under the control of either the communists ore nationalists a situation which is likely to change soon as the Soviet union and the Chinese communists are almost ready to begin the invasion of the Japanese puppet state ).
