October 15 Moscow now considered in real jeopardy. Following the evacuation of the Soviet government and diplomatic corps from Moscow to Kuibyshev, panic begins to spread among the civilian population, with thousands fleeing the city to places further east, but Stalin decides to stay.

October 17 German units are now only 60 miles west of Moscow. October 18 Army Group Centre finally clears the Vyazma pocket, Stalin declares state of siege in Moscow and orders its defence to the last man.

October 20 finish army after having won the battle of Leningrad now begins a new offensive together with the German 20th Mountain army against the port of Murmansk.

October 25 The Russians launch numerous counter-attacks around Moscow in an attempt to halt the German advance.

October 28 after several unsuccessful attempts by the soviets to halt Army Group Centre Moscow is reach but unlike Leningrad the city will not fall that easily therefore Hitler orders more forces to be deployed against the city will the defenders of Moscow try to halt the German hoping for reinforcement to arrive in time will Stalin refuse to leave the city even if it is now under constant artillery attacks

October 29 German begin to push into the outer etches of Moscow but still receive stiff resistance Hitler orders the city to be bomb to the ground by the Luftwaffe.

November 26 Stalin comes close to hysteria when heard that the soviet army cannot retake the city fore a months ore two as the are still to weak ( the soviet army is raising army on the Volga, in Asia and in the Urals, and it would only be a matter of a few months before these new troops can be committed will in the mean time the German army is digging in and sending units to other fronts).Japanese 1st Air Fleet sets sail for Pearl Harbour, from its anchorage in the Kurile Islands. November 27 great Britain after hearing the news that Moscow has fallen to the German fears that when the Germans are true the will be again next ( at the moment the UK only suffers submarine blockade and raids against coastal targets with great Britain deploying much of its forces on Grete and the air battle of Italy).

November 28 Hitler orders Directive No.34 in which army group 9 will move from Moscow towards reinforcing The German 11th Army in taking Sevastopol while the rest of the forces guarding Moscow to dig in and to prepare themselves against any soviet counter attack.
