January 31 British and Commonwealth forces complete their evacuation of Malaya and withdraw to Singapore Island across the causeway with the Japanese only 8 miles away. February 4 The British refuse to surrender at Singapore, heavy bombardment by the Japanese continues for 4 days

February 7 the commander at Singapore, says city will be held to the last man. The Japanese launch a feint landing on Pulua Ubin Island to the east of Singapore but is repel forcing the japans back in the sea ( the bombing begins to show their effect will holding the japans out of the city the are now surrounded by the japans).

February 14 The Japanese being their invasion of Sumatra with a attempted airborne landing at Palembang but are detected by the two radar station on Sumatra giving the Dutch spitfires and brewster f2a and british Hawker Hurricanes time to intercept and in the dogfight time to shoot them down before the ménage to droop their Para troops ( the British have learned a lot of the failed Grete landings and the Dutch had build their air defense up sins the Germans declare war in 1939 against the Dutch homeland giving them two year instead of only one to become more independent.)

February 15 with no enemy forces a live on Sumatra the Dutch ,British and Australian troops can prepare them self for a invasion by sea with the Dutch/Australian army division on Dutch Borneo having surrendered the now have to face a invasion by sea with the japanes a day away ( because the invasion fleet in otl came from French Indochina and here the French have only surrendered one month ago the japans fleet has to move from Thailand instead ).

February 16 HNLMS De Ruyter, HNLMS Java and HNLMS Tromp, HMS Exeter, HMAS Hobart and 10 destroyers, under command of Admiral Karel Doorman, make an attempt to intercept the Japanese force while the japanes have carrier support from the Ryujo the Dutch and their allies have also got air support from bases in Sumatra and java forcing the japans fleet to abort the attempt to invade Sumatra ( the Dutch after having won the air battle of Sumatra the previous day and with the help of some new British air reinforcements manage to counter the japans air power and help the fleet of karel doorman in blocking the japans landing attempt).

February 26 The Australian Prime Minister calls the surrender of Singapore ‘Australia’s Dunkirk’ ( there whore more then tree Australia’s army divisions station at Singapore).

February 28 fearing the strong presence of allied forces and having more fighter and troops station there and after the failed attempt to land forces at Sumatra the invasion of java is cancelled with a new tactic to gain air supporty from bases in Borneo and then to land a much larger japans force from there ( the japans can if the want to land as the have better ships but the British and Dutch have more fighter squadrons station on java and have radar to guide their planes to the target and have therefore local air supporty over both java and Sumatra and the battle of java sea never took place like otl ). Al japans landings in the Philippines and in new Guinea are happening like in the otl

March 2 The Dutch take supreme command of all allied forces in Southwest Pacific after the still with their allies are holding on the java and Sumatra while the japans attention haze shifted toward capturing al of the New Guinea ( because the landing of java and Sumatra failed the japans are now throwing the force that was suppose to land on java against new Guinea). the us begins hastily preparation of landing a force on midway supported by the aircraft Carriers Lexington and Yorktown and a force of 1.000 soldiers to hop in liberating the island as the fear that midway can be jus to bomb Hawaii and the us eastern coast.

March 3 RAF Bomber Command, under its new C-in-C, Air Vice Marshal Harris orders the renewal of bombing campaign against Germany (mostly the British attack the French coast in trying to stop the German subs from being used there as no battle of Britain was don in this timeline neither the British nor Germans attack any major city something with the new vice marshal is about the chance).

March 10 Japanese troops make landings at Finschhafen in New Guinea. They also occupy Buka in the Solomon Islands. Japanese aircraft attack Port Moresby in Papua with the attempt of sofning it up for capture. Second battle of midway begins as aircraft from the American Aircraft Carriers Lexington and Yorktown who are escorting a hastly prepard landing force begin there attacks against the Japanese on midway but the japans who new that the Americans would try to take midway back had two carries on standby and land base fighters based now on midway in the battle avalbile, one japans carrier is damage but the Yorktown is sunk with only one American carrier remaining and no posalbilaty to land the landing force sucseful order is giving to return to Hawaii to defend it as the Americans believe Japan will invade the island ( at this time the Japanese garrison is only 1.000 strong du the size of the island with a small detachment of fighter planes to defend it as most of the large forces have move on to attack the Dutch indie , the japans keep at leas 1 carrier on rotation guarding the island but the japans now that a next attack the cannot hold and need to use midway to the full for the time the have left.)

March 15 The Japanese begin an intensive bombing campaign against Batavia in java wit the intend of luring allied planes in to battle against the japans bomber escorts ( will the Dutch have lose a lot of planes in defending their islands the British can send them new owns and the fact that the now are reinforce with new British fighters squadrons and US give them the edge to hold one ).

March 20 The Red Army counter offensive at Kerch in the Crimea is defeated with heavy losses to the Russians by both the 9th and 11th army who are dug in there.

March 23 Port Moresby is again attacked by Japanese aircraft March 26 four H6K4 depart from midway in the middle of the night and after a long journey drop their bombs on san Francisco dropping their payloads on the city causing more then 97 Americans to die in the city, san Francisco who was already on a black out suffers the first major attack sins the war of 1812 the four H6K4 have only receive light aa fire manage to return to midway before being refuel in the Pacific Ocean by a Japanese submarine( the Japanese launch this operation called flaming sword after the US fleet that was sent to reinvaded midway was destroyed, Japan believe hitting san Francisco needed to be done in the time the had left on controlling midway ).

March 27 in a speech the president of the united states says that what happen on march 26th was something that showed the Japanese would hit at the united states and compared the san Francisco raid with the pearl harbour raid as a day that will live on infamy and that now all of the United states people should unity more than ever before ( the death toll haze risen to 112 and all US coastal city are to receive large aa protection while the entire eastern US seaboard is ordered to black-out its lights at night, in an attempt to reduce the success of a follow up of the san Francisco raid and prevent the success of U-boats hitting ships and shell the coast at night, planes for a second attempt to reinvaded midway are being made but this time a 3 days b-17 bombing campaign to level the japans 1,000 garrison and to destroy the airfield are to be taken place first fore the second faze 3 carriers are needed carrier Lexington will be deployed to guard and intercept any raid on san Francisco wile the Hornet and Enterprise will launch a air attack on Tokyo fore retaliation for Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor and san Francisco and after that will link up with the Lexington fore the invasion, the strike on Tokyo was already being planed fore April 18 while the invasion of midway as al goes to plan will begin end April to allow the carriers time to regroup the operation will be named third wave )

March 28 RAF Bomber Command again attacks the Tirpitz at floro Norway ( trondelheim is being used by the German to transport iron ore to germany and therefore the Tirpitz is Anker in floro to intercept any British ship tat has plans to attack trondelheim). Under the new tactical doctrine of area saturation bombing, introduced by Air Vice Marshal Harris, the RAF launches its first all out bombing on mainland Europe (minus Italy who is being bombed) sins 1940, attack (234 bombers) against Lübeck on the Baltic that devastates 265 acres of the old city. The RAF lost 13 aircraft and from one of these the Germans were able to obtain their first specimen of the GEE equipment. In retaliation for the raid on Lübeck, Hitler orders the Luftwaffe to begin bombing British towns and cities.
