September 4 believing the have full control of the Salomon sea the allies land with a carrier force of 4 ships and their escort to protect them at popondetta in operation backdoor with the Australians 9th Division in the lead after a day of battling the secure the town but quickly discover that the Japanese have form a perimeter around the town forcing the 9th division and the naval and air support to first battling thier way out of the town before the can move to port Mosby where the Japanese are still holding the new guinea force at bay at thier line.

September 5 US paratroops land behind the Japanese positions at popondetta and surround about 5,000 Japanese troops who where preventing the 9th division to break out. the biggest air raid involving Dutch B-25 and US b-17 against the Borneo oil refinery involving more then 200 planes of which 40 are Dutch B-25 will the Dutch are also in the planning to receive some B-17 to increase the attacks against the Japanese holdings in Borneo and the Celebes.

Montgomery resumes the offensive in Norway when British and Norwegians troops try to break in to the German new line of halsa -rosos line but are rebuff with the US lead forces try to capture the city of halsa but face stiff resistance from the Germans who now have learn from their experience in how to defend a city and its surrounding.

October 28 The second mass raid on Hamburg by 344 RAF bombers results in 5 square miles of city being set alight the RAF lose more then 17 planes ( the Germans begin to increase the aa defence of the city and have redeployed some German fighter squadrons based in Germany ). October 29 The mass evacuation of a million civilians from Hamburg is ordered after the recent heavy bombings.

October 30 Hamburg is bombed for a third time but while the lose to the US and RAF are begining to increase the attacks continuo.

November 1 The US 3rd Marine Division lands at Empress Augusta Bay on Bougainville Island in the Solomon's while a confused naval battle begins around Bougainville Island.

November 2 The ninth attack on Hamburg in eight days an Estimated 25.000 killed in responds Hitler orders London to be attack for the firs time in the war ( no major battle of Britain happened therefore London was never hit ).

November 3 Heavy USAAF air attacks begin on Rabaul. November 5 the Germans lose the city of Melitopol again just after the recaptured the city 8 days ago. US Navy carrier planes cripple a Japanese squadron at Rabaul forcing six cruisers to withdraw North to Turk for repairs ( the carriers where the ships that protected the allied landings in operation backdoor and now are station in the Solomon sea to prevent the Japanese taking it back).

December 24 Sir Henry Maitland Wilson is made Supreme Commander in the Mediterranean and orders the bombing of Italy to increase. The Luftwaffe raids Exeter in the first of Hitler's retaliatory raids ,a second raid employing 91 aircraft is made against Rostock. 350 allied bombers hit the Japanese hold port Mosby while US and Australian naval ships are beginning to blockade and shell Japanese positions in the city.

December 26 German forces of Army Group Centre evacuate Gomel in Byelorussia towards their panther line. December 30 of the 15,000 Japanese defenders at port Mosby only 7,700 are still alive with the city burning and laying in ruins and after 3 air attacks against the port the Japanese’s still refuse to give up the city even if the are isolated from the outside world with more then 2 allied divisions surrounding and pounding their positions daily while new troops now move in the srengting the new guinea force who after battling its way to the jungle is almost 5 miles from the city of kerema ( the Japanese at port Mosby begin to run out of food and with the constant bombardments and shelling from the allied forces the are almost and the end, the US begins to feel the effect of the Japanese die hard mentality and are now begin to focus on a new tactic instead of attacking the citys hold by the Japanese on new guinea the are going if possible bypass them and let the air force bomb them out and surround them until the surrender or are completely destroyed while also clearing in of new guinea that Australia is no more in danger of being bomb and continue the advance when the Bismarck sea is in allied hands giving them control of isolating 100,000 Japanese instead of battling themselves tro the jungle ).
